'12 Days of Christmas' Day 2: Winter Fashion Essentials

Hello my love, welcome to DAY 2 of our ‘12 Days of Christmas’ Holiday Series!

It's the most wonder time of the year! Unfortunately for us, the most wonderful time of the year just happens to be extremely cold. But fear not, Glasses n' Lashes has your list of winter essentials to keep you both warm and fashionable this holiday season!

We've compiled a list of our Top 5 Winter Essentials and where you can find them! Let's take a look :)

Let's be honest, who really enjoys wearing jeans in the winter? When it's cold outside, you just want to be comfy and leggings are definitely the way to go. A good pair of leggings can keep you warm and super comfy. Pair them with an oversized sweater or some knee-high boots and you're all set!

Basic Cotton Leggings from Garage: $12.50

Cable Knit Leggings from Forever 21: $13.80

Cold Weather Leggings Lined with Fleece from Forever 21: $18.80
Anyone who has worn an oversized knit can't deny how incredibly cozy they are. Aside from their amazing comfort level, oversized knits are very stylish. Whether you choose a waffle knit, patterned, cross back or zippered sweater, you will definitely look good this season.

Neave Waffle Knit Jumper from $35
Zigzag Sweater from Forever 21: $27.80
Favourite Cable Knit Sweater from Forever 21: $33.80

No holiday wardrobe is complete without a Christmas sweater. Whether they're ugly or cute, they are a must have for the season.

BDG Animal Games Sweater from Urban Outfitters: $39.00
Hiba Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal Sweater from $35
TIP: If you're shopping around for an ugly christmas sweater, thrifting one is the easiest and cheapest way to find one. Even if you can't find a christmas sweater, thrift a sweater in a festive colour, buy some ribbon, tinsel and bows form the dollar store and DIY one yourself!

I've recently fallen in love with coats. Thick, rich coloured, lavish coats leave you looking polished and warm for those cold winter nights. They instantly add style to any outfit. Although they're on the more expensive side of our winter essentials, investing in a good coat (in a gorge colour) is totally worth it. You can opt for camel, pale pink or forest green (super cute this season), go with the classic black, navy or beige, or go for a pop of colour with an emerald green or royal blue. There are also tons of styles like cocoon, wrap, cape or trench. Try out different colours and styles to see which suits you best!

Sleek Adjustable Trench Coat from Forever 21: $54.00
Coat with Large Lapel from Zara: $79.99

During the winter, it can get quite cold. Knit headbands are great for making sure your ears stay warm while walking to class. There's a variety of styles and colours to choose from so you will always have one to match your outfit while keeping your ears nice and toasty!

Braided Headband from H&M: $6.95

Knit Headband from Aldo Accessories: $12
Faux Fur Headband from $20

There you have it! Our Top 5 Winter Essentials!

Make sure to stay tuned tomorrow for Day 3 of our '12 Days of Christmas'!
