Tech Tuesday | iRig
Hello lovelies! Welcome to Tech Tuesday! This week, we're featuring a guitar interface adapter called "iRig". It allows you to connect your guitar to any iOS device, which is super cool! It costs around $30-$40. I use it on my phone, through the AmpliTube app by IK Multimedia, but you can also use it through the Garage Band app on your Mac.
Note: To use this adapter, you'll need to make sure you Mac is compatible by going into "About this Mac", then clicking "System Report". Click "Audio", and check that "External Microphone/iPhone Headset" is included in the features. If it is, you're good to go!
You just need the iRig, an amp cord, your computer/phone, headphones and your guitar!

Web Wednesdays | Instavideo or Vine?
I was one of those people who thought Vine would completely
fail when Instagram Video started. But then someone reminded me, it’s not like
Facebook failed when MySpace started to get similar features. It seems like,
without knowing it, many outlets and mediums of social media are fulfilling
certain purposes in their own unique ways.
I’m a huge social media nerd, and I tend to compartmentalize
my life. Naturally, when Instagram Video came about I thought, “Oh crap! But I
always keep images and video separate…what do I do now?” I had tried other “video” type mediums before
such as Keek, but they just didn’t suit me. I thought I would immediately fall
in love with InstaVideo and fall off of Vine – but it didn’t work that way.
