Hey dolls!
I just spent the weekend in St. Catharines visiting my best friend and every girls' night needs delicious mixed drinks!
Don't worry guys, we aren't bartenders and these drinks were super easy to make :)
To make Sex on the Beach, all you need is a mixer, measuring cup (the little shot glass ones work fine), vodka, peach schnapps, orange juice and cranberry juice. Now a mixer isn't necessary, but it does make you feel extremely cool. Also, you can substitute orange juice with pineapple juice.

Travels | Hawaii Part II
Hello Loves! Sorry this post is so late, but I ended up getting sick for a week :( But I'm better now, so here is the second instalment of the Travel Series: Hawaii.
Day Four: VARSHA’S 21ST BIRTHDAY! Today, after
breakfast in bed, we planned to go to a lu’au held at Paradise Cove. So in the afternoon, we boarded a coach bus
and headed to the venue. We got (shell) lei’d, and got free mai tai’s upon
entering. After watching an introductory performance and the bringing out of
the pig, we got traditional Polynesian tattoos, watched a fishing ceremony,
made flower bands, and drank! We even saw a man climb a palm tree and release
traditional Hawaiian flowers, which was a beautiful sight. By the time all of
the events were done, we’d worked up an appetite so we sat down to fried
chicken, macaroni salad, mahi mahi, and a taro roll while watching a show of
Hula Girls and Samoan Fire Dancers. We both went up on stage and got hula
certified! J
After a long night, we headed back on the bus to the hotel. It was a great way to
end Varsha’s birthday.

Fashion Fix | Work Event
Hey Dolls! A couple of months ago Shivani invited me to a work event, so I decided to do a little "Outfit Of the Night". The event was called "Damsels In De-Stress" (How cute?), and was held by Peel Children's Aid. It was a chic event, so I decided on a simple, casual, black & white ensemble.

Travel | Hawaii Part I
Hello Loves, It’s Varsha AND Sonia here! Welcome to our new Travel Series. All of us are going to be travelling to interesting places in the next couple of months, so we've come up with the series to not only share our time with you, but to also give you guys some ideas if you ever decide to go to these destinations :)
Varsha
recently turned 21 (we have no clue where the time went…), and as a birthday
gift our family took her on a trip to Hawaii! The two of us, our parents, and
our aunt went to the island of Oahu for seven days and it was beautiful!
On day one,
after a twelve hour trip from Toronto, to Vancouver, to Oahu, we got to the
hotel, grabbed some food and decided to do what Varsha wanted to do. Everyone
knew what this would be: go to the zoo and the aquarium. The Waikiki strip is
filled with hotels and tourists. So we figured the zoo would be a ways away.
NOPE. The waiter at the restaurant said it was a five-minute walk down the
street. It was crazy to think that in the middle of all of the hotels and two
minutes away from the beach there would be a ZOO. So, we strolled five minutes
down the street and there it was. Most of the animals were sleeping, so we
finished the tour and headed to the aquarium. This was SUPER cool. There were
indoor and outdoor portions, which was made for an interesting visit. After a
long day of walking and seeing animals of the land and the sea, we headed to
the hotel restaurant “Moana Terrace”.

Fashion Fix | Festival Style
Hey gangsters! Okay so last weekend I went to the Digital Dreams Festival, which is an electronic dance music festival in Toronto! It was amazing - house/electro/dance/trance music isn't my go to music, but when I hear it in a club I just LOVE it. And this festival just made me love it that much more.
So, when I was looking into figuring out what to wear, I realized you can't wear just anything! You need to be comfortable, wear long-lasting stuff, think about the heat, the crowd..ETC. So I figured it would be good to do a post on this since it's not like your regular going out outfits!
So here's Day 1:
TOP: Crochet-Looking Cover-up from Katie - $12
BOTTOMS: Orange Denim shorts from Scotch and Son - $40 (on sale)
PURSE: Brown Tassel Cross-body from ebay - $9
RINGS: Different tones from H&M - $6 (I think...)
BRACELET: Gift from Hawaii!
SHOES (not pictured): Brown Gladiators from Spring - $30

Music Monday | Here's To Never Growing Up
hellooooo my loves!
Since Canada Day was last week, we thought we would feature a Canadian artist on this week's Music Monday! As the title of this post suggests, the song I'm talking about is Here's To Never Growing Up by Avril Lavigne.
Avril co-wrote the song with her new and also Canadian hubby Chad Kroeger and I love it! It's upbeat, fun and definitely something you can blast in your car and sing-a-long to. This is exactly why it needs to be added to our Summer Jams list! Whether you've loved Avril for years or have never heard her songs, this is the care free song you need for this summer :)
Now aside from the song, can we talk about the video? I'm really liking the heels she's wearing in the classroom and the video is a good fit for the song. But what's the best part of the video you ask? Well it has the be the moment you see her skateboarding down the hallway in her signature "complicated" look. It's a lovely blast from the past that really embodies the song. Can you believe it's been 11 years since she released complicated? Boy do I feel old.
You can check out the video below and check out her fifth album coming out this September!

File Transfer Apps: Dropbox vs. Bump
Hi! So this isn’t new, but I
thought I’d do a little post on two apps that make file transferring amazingly
easy. Goodbye are the days where we’d have to email or “MSN” each other music,
pictures or documents for a school project. Where we’d constantly need to be
carrying around (or borrowing) USB’s. Apps like “Dropbox” and “Bump” are here to
save the day.
Dropbox
Dropbox is available through the
web, and an app on your computer as well as your phone. This means you can
access your files from anywhere, at anytime, as long as you have one of these
devices or access to the internet. It’s simple, you sign up on the website:
dropbox.com, and begin sharing files! You can create folders for your personal
use, or create folders to share between a friend or a group! The perfect thing
about dropbox is that all of the files are uploaded automatically to all your
devices (think iCloud). Whenever I take pictures on my phone, they’re
automatically loaded to my computer. That was a big seller for me, because I
absolutely dread uploading pictures to my computer manually. Who has time for
that? LOL Although I have iCloud, I could never seem to get it working to push
things such as a pictures and documents onto my devices. Dropbox was much, much
easier to handle without having to “configure settings”. I dropbox everything,
to everyone now. Thank you dropbox.
