Eating the same thing every day for dinner can get quite boring, so we've been trying to find healthy alternatives that also taste good. Last week we made flatbread pizzas for dinner and they were so delicious we thought we would share! What I like about the flatbread we bought is that they are only 100 calories each, are high in fiber, low in carbs and have 9g of protein. So not only are they yummy, but they are healthy too!
TO BUY:
Flatout Flatbread Multigrain with flax
Jar of Pizza Sauce
Bag of Shredded Cheese (or grate your own cheese)
Various Vegetables
Feta Cheese (if desired)
ONE: Place flatbread on baking trays.
TWO: Using a spoon, spread pizza sauce evenly on flatbread,
leaving roughly an inch around the edges.
THREE: Cut up all the vegetables. We used bell peppers, mushrooms and tomatoes. Sun-dried tomatoes and zucchini are also good additions to your pizza!
FOUR: Sprinkle shredded cheese over the flatbread, making sure you cover all the areas with sauce.
FIVE: Load up your flatbread with lots of veggies! If you want your pizza extra cheesy, add another layer of shredded cheese on top of the vegetables. We also added some cooked chicken and feta cheese to our pizzas.
BAKE: Preheat oven to 350 degrees Celsius and bake pizza for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and you are ready to enjoy a very quick, delicious meal!
Check out the flat-out flatbread website for some other recipes and enjoy my darlings!
